Nach reiflicher Überlegung kamen die Organisatoren und Veranstalter der E3 zu dem Schluss, dass der aktuelle Termin abgesagt wird.
Planmäßig hätte die Spielemesse in Los Angeles (USA) vom 9. bis 11. Juni stattfinden sollen. Aufgrund der allgemeinen Unsicherheiten in Bezug auf die Ausbreitung und Auswirkungen des COVID-19 Virus (Corona), entschloss man sich heute zum Schritt der Absage. Man stelle die Sicherheit und Gesundheit aller Fans, Angestellten, Aussteller und Langzeitpartner der E3 in den Vordergrund.
Man habe sich die Entscheidung nicht leicht gemacht und mit den Partnerfirmen abgestimmt. Selbstverständlich ist man sehr traurig darüber, das gewohnte Programm nicht bieten zu können. Derzeit werde eine Art „Online Experience“ geplant. Weitere Infos dazu sollen im Juni folgen. Alle Updates hierzu gibt es auf der offiziellen Webseite.
Aber man ist bereits jetzt schon guter Dinge für 2021, sich mit der E3, in gewohntem Glanz für alle Teilnehmer präsentieren zu können.
